Job Title: Rehab Tech / Functional Maintenance Program Coordinator

Facility: Victoria Crossing Rehabilitation

Location: Brandon, FL

Shift: Full-Time

Salary: $18-$20 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Job Description:

Victoria Crossing Rehabilitation is seeking a Functional Maintenance Program Coordinator to join our therapy team. This role involves assisting with the maintenance of department equipment and supplies, ensuring safe and efficient operation to support therapy outcomes. The coordinator will work closely with therapists to recommend necessary equipment, participate in resident assessments, and help develop individualized occupational therapy plans.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and oversee department equipment and supplies.
• Recommend equipment and supply needs to the therapist.
• Ensure efficient use of equipment to optimize therapy outcomes and reduce waste.
• Safely operate all department equipment.
• Assist in implementing occupational therapy procedures per resident care plans.
• Participate in resident assessment activities.
• Assist in developing occupational therapy plans in conjunction with resident assessments (MDS).
• Deliver therapy treatment in alignment with residents' care plans.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience as a Rehabilitation Tech preferred.
• Experience working in a long-term care facility is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing home experience preferred.
• Experience working with Word and Excel preferred.
