This is an hourly position. This will be located in Orlando, FL and surrounding area.
Job Summary: The Field Merchandising Trainer plays a critical role in supporting Excell Brand’s retail locations by delivering high-quality training, hands-on merchandising, and critical administrative tasks to make their district and region successful. This full-time position is responsible for enhancing field performance, maintaining operational consistency, and ensuring exceptional service standards.
ORGANIZATIONAL AND REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports directly to the District Manager.

Training & Field Readiness:
- Train and onboard full time and part time Retail Account Merchandisers (RAMs) and Crossmark representatives.
- Deliver new hire training, process updates, and refresher sessions.
- Conduct 45‑day and 90‑day follow‑up visits to ensure training adoption and compliance to standards and policies.
- Act as a training resource for major metro hubs and high‑priority markets.
- Reinforce process adoption through coaching, evaluation, and structured follow‑ups.
- Support HR and Process Team with curriculum feedback, training standards, and compliance.
Merchandising Support
- Execute all standard merchandising tasks including:
- Unpacking cartons and stocking retailers’ shelves
- Resetting and maintaining displays
- Following planograms accurately
- Ensuring all products are properly labeled and merchandised
- Maintaining clean, organized presentation standards
- Conduct store audits, identify execution gaps, and implement in‑store fixes, including support following Crossmark service misses
- Fill merchandising coverage gaps due to sick time, vacation, or turnover.
- Support store openings, seasonal peaks, or special project pushes.
Administrative Support
- Audit, report and ensure critical processes are complete and accurate such as area reports (backroom inventory), store refusals, visit data, service quality metrics and 3rd party merchandising audits.
- Support and assist with visit scheduling by helping to align store needs and district planning.
- Conduct audits for process and training compliance.
- Identify procedural gaps, communicate them to the Process Team, and assist with corrective action follow‑through.
- Assist District Managers with day‑to‑day operational tasks and resolution of field‑level issues.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Comfort using a tablet or phone for reporting, surveys, and documentation.

- Travel within the district and region may be needed up to 2-3 times monthly, depending on business needs.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience as a retail account merchandiser or equivalent field merchandising role.
- Experience conducting training or developing others.
- Strong communication and training abilities.
- Strong organizational, planning, and administrative capabilities.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs., with team lifts up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Ability to travel throughout assigned area with schedule flexibility.
- High level of professionalism, reliability, and relationship‑building skills.
