Join ExcelHealth Group as a Full-Time Traveling Audiologist

ExcelHealth Group is seeking a full-time, patient-centered Audiologist to provide high-quality hearing healthcare services to residents in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities throughout the state. This role is ideal for a licensed provider who values clinical independence, enjoys working in different care settings, and wants to make a meaningful difference for residents who may have limited access to audiology services.

Why This Role Stands Out

As a Traveling Audiologist, you will visit assigned long-term care and skilled nursing facilities to evaluate hearing needs, perform audiologic testing, support hearing aid services, and help residents maintain communication, independence, and quality of life. You will work independently while remaining connected to a supportive administrative and scheduling team. This position offers the ability to build a stable, full-time career while delivering essential hearing care directly to patients in the long-term care setting. Full state coverage is required, and company support is provided for approved travel-related needs.

The right candidate will be comfortable managing a mobile schedule, communicating professionally with facility teams, and providing compassionate, clinically appropriate care to residents with varying hearing healthcare needs. This is an excellent opportunity for an audiology provider who wants a role with purpose, flexibility in daily workflow, and the ability to serve communities across the state.

What You’ll Do

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and support treatment of hearing conditions for residents in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities.
  • Conduct otoscopic exams, hearing screenings, diagnostic hearing evaluations, and other clinically appropriate audiology services using mobile equipment.
  • Recommend appropriate hearing care plans, follow-up needs, referrals, and communication support based on patient presentation and test findings.
  • Dispense, program, adjust, maintain, troubleshoot, and coordinate repair of hearing aids and related assistive devices as applicable.
  • Identify changes in patient condition and communicate concerns to appropriate facility staff, families, or care team members as needed.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation for each patient encounter.
  • Coordinate with the internal scheduling team to support efficient routing, facility visits, and patient care coverage.
  • Represent ExcelHealth Group professionally when interacting with residents, families, facility staff, and care partners.
  • Stay current with audiology best practices, compliance expectations, licensure requirements, and continuing education standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Doctor of Audiology degree or other state-approved audiology credential required for licensure.
  • Valid state license to practice audiology, or ability to obtain required licensure before starting.
  • Valid malpractice coverage or ability to obtain coverage.
  • Ability and willingness to travel statewide to assigned long-term care and skilled nursing facility locations.
  • Experience with hearing evaluations, otoscopy, hearing aid fitting, programming, maintenance, and patient education preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment and comfort working independently in a mobile healthcare environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate respectfully with patients, facility staff, families, and internal team members.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage documentation, scheduling expectations, equipment needs, and travel responsibilities.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, ethical, and high-quality hearing care to long-term care residents.

Benefits And Support

  • Full-time employment with consistent patient care opportunities
  • Paid time off
  • Paid company-recognized holidays
  • Health insurance reimbursement
  • Malpractice reimbursement
  • Continuing education support
  • Basic vehicle maintenance support for approved work-related travel
  • Company-issued credit card for approved travel expenses
  • Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates
