Job description:
Job Title: Floor Technician
Shift Options:
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
- 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Job Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain hospital floors, carpets, and common areas
- Perform stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, mopping, and carpet extraction
- Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow infection control, PPE, and safety procedures
- Maintain floor care equipment and supplies
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Prior Floor Technician experience preferred but not required
- Hospital or Environmental Services experience preferred
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work independently
Preferred
- 1 year of floor care experience
- Floor Technician Certification preferred
