ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include but are not limited to the following activities:
- Develop strong relationships with business leads to produce accurate and reliable budgets, forecasts, and analysis.
- Assist in coordinating and preparing the monthly reporting package for Senior Management and the Board of Directors which includes consolidated financial statements, supplemental financial information, and variance explanations against the budget, forecast, and prior-year results.
- Assist in compiling the consolidated annual budget and quarterly forecasts. Gather data from operations, Business FP&A, and accounting teams to create reliable and credible financial projections.
- Assist in the development and distribution of recurring and ad hoc financial reports to department heads.
- Generate ideas to continuously improve processes for reporting of actual, forecast, and budget information to Senior Management.
- Work closely with the accounting team to understand accounting standards and incorporate them into financial projection models.
- Assist in the implementation of budgeting, reporting, and analytics software tools to support FP&A activities.
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and other special projects as assigned.
ABOUT YOU:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required. MBA, Master’s in Finance or Accounting preferred.
- Requires at least three years of relevant financial experience, with at least two years of FP&A experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of accounting and financial principles.
- Experience researching and writing high-level variance analysis is required.
- Highly organized and able to manage competing priorities and timelines.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet tight deadlines which may require some after-hours or weekend work.
- Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to improve a process from idea generation to implementation.
- Mastery level experience with Excel (pivot tables, V-Lookups, etc.).
- High motivation and initiative with an ability to work without close supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in finished work product.
- Customer service orientation, with excellent follow-up and follow-through expected.
- Experience using financial planning and reporting tools is required. Experience with OneStream is preferred.
- Experience using business analytics software such as PowerBI is preferred.
