- Wash, sanitize, and properly store pots, pans, trays, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Take out garbage and recycling and maintain clean waste areas
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, including floors, walls, workstations, and equipment
- Receive and put away deliveries, ensuring items are stored correctly and safely
- Stock kitchen supplies, food items, and storage areas as needed
- Clean and organize freezer and storage areas to maintain proper sanitation and accessibility
- Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure proper use of chemicals and temperatures
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control policies
- Assist dietary staff with additional kitchen support duties as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Previous kitchen, food service, or healthcare experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
