Excelcare at Wilmington is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our Environmental Services team in a skilled nursing facility setting. The Floor Tech plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. This position is responsible for the care, cleaning, and maintenance of all hard and soft floor surfaces throughout the facility, ensuring they meet high standards of cleanliness and appearance.

Floor Tech Responsibilities:
- Perform floor care duties including stripping, waxing, buffing, and burnishing
- Operate and maintain floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and extractors
- Ensure all areas are maintained to high cleanliness standards
- Follow all safety and infection control procedures
- Support housekeeping team as needed
Floor Tech Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Floor Tech, preferably in a healthcare or nursing home setting
- Knowledge of proper floor care techniques and equipment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
