This position is for 2nd Shift - 4:30 pm to 3:00 am - Monday thru Friday
ON SITE JOB TRAINING!
Responsibilities for CMM Operator/Quality
- Perform quality functions for CNC machining facility, including inspection
- Responsible in completing receiving inspections in a timely manner
- Quality Inspector is to ensure the quality of products they are inspecting
- Setup and run a basic CMM program to check a production part
- Operate Contracer
- Quality Inspector/CMM Operator is responsible for record keeping of quality inspection documents
- Calibrate and repair precision instruments
- This description is not limited to all other duties asked of you by a supervisor
Qualifications for CMM Operator
- Proven experience as a CMM Operator in the same industry or Quality (preferred, but not required)
- Strong regard for quality assurance according to company standards
- Good knowledge about industry products and processes
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Basic mathematical arithmetic and computer skills
- Excellent oral and communication skills
- Excellent presentation and reporting skills
- Good team player who can work efficiently
Hours may increase based on the business.
