We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Storeroom Operator for a maintenance position to join our team at a large chemical manufacturing facility in Calvert City, KY. This is a full-time role with strong long-term potential for individuals who perform well and are a good fit for the site.
You will be employed by Excel Group and assigned to support the client's on-site maintenance and operations teams.

Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming materials and verify contents
- Prepare and ship outgoing products
- Enter data accurately to issue and receive stock
- Issue inventory to internal departments or customers
- Restock shelves and maintain inventory organization
- Deliver stock to various on-site or local locations
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
- Keep the storeroom clean and organized
- Provide professional customer service to internal staff and vendors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree required)
- Proficient in computer use, including data entry and inventory systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Capable of heavy lifting and physical labor
- Previous industrial and/or farm experience preferred
- Must pass a physical screening
- Must pass a drug screening
- Must pass a background check
- Steel toe shoes will be required

Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour with advancement potential within Excel and the potential for extended assignment with our client based on performance and business needs.
