What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rehab Tech (Full-Time) position at Excel at Woodbury for Rehab and Nursing?
Excel at Woodbury, located in Nassau County, has an opportunity for a Full-Time Rehab Tech.
Duties:
- Perform all floor ambulation for all residents as prescribed by the rehab department/MD
- Perform AAROM/PROM for all residents as indicated
- Perform cleaning and sanitizing of all surfaces and equipment being used as part of the functional maintenance program
- Transfer residents in/out of the wheelchair as part of a functional maintenance program
- Ensure splints/braces are applied/removed by nursing staff as per MD order and in accordance with wearing schedule
- Report any inconsistencies, functional changes, skin integrity issues (if noted) of a resident to the nursing manager and/or rehab director as needed.
- Document all FAP distance, level of assistance (in nursing terms) daily in EMR
- Perform group wellness exercises with residents on the units ( if applicable) as directed by Rehab therapy staff
Other duties as assigned by Rehab director
