Foreman Responsibilities will include
- Responsible for the safety and field labor on assigned project
- Foreman project scope around $750K
- General Foreman project scope $750K – 5M with 8 to 20 crew members
- Quality electrical installation and mechanical abilities
- Review and plan appropriate material procurement for assigned project
- Ability to run a project according to planned productivity budget
- Complete layout of electrical distribution, power, lighting, and all special systems for assigned project
- Review project schedule daily with notations of any delays, changes, or deficiencies to the project management team
- Supervise, evaluate, and develop lead journeymen, journeymen, and apprentices
- Lead by example and challenge all employees to achieve excellence
Foreman Role Description
This full-time onsite position will oversee daily operations in the field, including managing and supervising field crews, ensuring safety and code regulations are followed and monitoring project progress.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold an active Colorado Journeyman or Master’s License
- Must have experience in large scale commercial and multi-family projects
- Knowledge and compliance of safety regulations and procedures
- Knowledge and compliance of the NEC
- Must be proficient in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Must be able to work full-time and overtime if required
- Demonstrate ability to manage and understand project budget with project manager
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring
- Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding
- Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
