This individual can leverage a range of technical and soft skills to drive exceptional client outcomes and a collaborative internal environment that fosters team growth. They embrace ambiguity, are meticulous about details, and consistently perform above expectations. We value team members who are hungry and looking to join an engaging and passionate group of coworkers.

  • Assess and advise on financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting while crafting detailed manuals and process documentation, which will serve as pivotal for the expansion of our clients' operations
  • Oversee, review, and dive deep into the accounting close. Understand key journal entries that needed around balance sheet accruals prepaids, deferred revenue, monthly payroll entries
  • Spearhead the onboarding process for new clients, serving as a continuous source of guidance and support throughout the entirety of their journey with Exbo Group.
  • Utilize project management software to orchestrate interconnected initiatives, ensuring client progression such as transitioning operations to platforms like NetSuite.

ABOUT EXBO GROUP

Exbo Group is a team of investment bankers, consultants, and accountants that grew out of a $400M New York based venture capital fund. The fund’s portfolio companies had CEOs with strong visions and operating experience but lacked the technical financial experience to scale. The companies needed a way to offload the complex administrative and strategic burden of running a finance department and interfacing with their investors. After providing accounting and financial assistance for a firm’s successful $10M Series A raise, several other funds and firms began to seek out Exbo Group's assistance. Our team has grown substantially and now provides high-touch accounting finance advisory and transaction services support to growth-stage companies and middle-market financial sponsors nationwide from our New York headquarters.
