Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lakeland, FL for a Nursing Supervisor (Night Shifts) at Exalt Health Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital. The Nursing Supervisor will oversee nightly nursing staff operations, ensure high-quality patient care delivery, and maintain adherence to healthcare regulations. Responsibilities include staff scheduling, monitoring patient care plans, facilitating communication between teams, and addressing any operational challenges during the night shift. The Nursing Supervisor will also support staff development through coaching and ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership and team management skills in a healthcare setting
- Strong ability in patient care management and clinical decision-making
- Familiarity with post-acute care standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
- Effective communication and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with nursing staff training and mentorship
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
- 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
