React UI Developer – Cross-Asset Trading Platform (5 days on-site – Jersey City, NJ)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled React UI Developer to contribute to the evolution of a cross-asset position management platform used across credit and macro products.

This role focuses on modernizing and enhancing front-end architecture, including migration initiatives from legacy desktop technologies to web-based solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering fundamentals with a product-oriented mindset and experience delivering high-quality, scalable UI applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop modern, high-performance user interfaces using React.
• Contribute to front-end architecture decisions and promote scalable design patterns.
• Participate in migration efforts from WPF-based applications to React web solutions.
• Build interactive components to support cross-asset position monitoring and management.
• Integrate third-party UI libraries (e.g., AG Grid) and optimize data-heavy interfaces.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers, product teams, and end users.

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems.
• Proven background in UI architecture and scalable front-end design.
• Experience migrating legacy desktop applications (e.g., WPF) to web-based frameworks.
• Solid experience with data grid libraries such as AG Grid or similar tools.
• Exposure to trading or position management systems across asset classes (credit, macro) is highly desirable.
