About the Role
Our Payment Poster Manager oversees the daily operations of the team, ensuring that all outstanding claims are processed, followed up on, and resolved in a timely manner. This role requires a strong leader with a background in medical billing and collections, particularly within the autism services field. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and motivate a team.

Key Responsibilities
The following are duties and responsibilities that the Payment Poster Manager:
- Supervise and lead the posting team and the team lead(s), providing guidance, training, and support
- Monitor and manage the posting process to ensure timely and accurate posting for all clients
- Review and analyze reports to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Review the productivity and quality of each team member's work and provide specific areas for improvement
- Create and maintain efficient workflows for the collection team
- Work with the recruiting team to identify, interview and hire new candidates
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve posting issues and improve processes
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the posting process
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including HIPAA
- Prepare and present regular reports on posting activities and performance to senior management
- Maintain a working knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and compliance standards
- Maintain a positive and productive work environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration within the posting team
Qualifications
The Payment Poster Manager requires a minimum of:
- Associate's degree (preferred)
- Behavioral health out-of-network billing: 3 years of experience
- Knowledge and experience with CollaborateMD and billing software programs
- Experience with ABA therapy preferred
- Willingness to submit to drug and background screenings
- Knowledge and understanding of EOBs
- Ensuring that all posting is accurate and posted in a timely manner before end-of-month close
- Identifying denied and underpaid claims
- Closing and balancing all companies in a timely manner each week
- Researching and analyzing data
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
