Position Overview
The Fractional Business Development Associate will play a key role in generating new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and supporting the sales pipeline for our Chicago operations. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a flexible, performance-driven environment and wants to earn ongoing residuals for the accounts they help bring in.
You will work closely with local leadership to identify prospects, schedule meetings, support proposals, and help convert opportunities into long-term security contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research prospective clients across key verticals (property management, logistics, retail, construction, hospitality, etc.)
- Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn, and networking channels
- Qualify leads and schedule discovery calls or site assessments for the local company team
- Maintain accurate CRM notes, pipeline updates, and activity tracking
- Support proposal preparation and follow-up communication
- Attend local networking events, trade shows, and industry meetups as needed
- Collaborate with operations leadership to ensure smooth handoff of new accounts
- Represent thr company brand, values, and service model with professionalism
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, lead generation, or sales (security industry experience a plus but not required)
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging decision-makers
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and hit activity targets
- Familiarity with CRM tools and structured outreach workflows
- Chicago-area residency with ability to attend occasional in-person meetings
- High integrity, reliability, and a service-first mindset
Compensation
Hourly Wage: Competitive hourly rate based on experience (paid biweekly)
Residual Commission Plan:
- Recurring monthly commission for the full duration of each client contract you help close
- Commission applies to both on-site guard services and mobile patrol services
- No cap on earnings; the more you build the book of business, the more you earn
- Additional bonuses available for high-value or multi-site contracts
