Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency calls involving water damage, fire, mold, asbestos, or flood incidents to assess and initiate immediate action.
- Operate company vehicles safely to reach job sites quickly and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform cleaning tasks
- Utilize hand tools, power tools
- Follow strict safety procedures during all operations to ensure personal safety and compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including photos, reports, and logs for each project.
- Support on-call coverage schedules to ensure 24/7 emergency response availability for clients in need.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on progress and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the restoration process.
Skills
- Strong emergency response readiness with the ability to act swiftly under pressure.
- Experience in water damage restoration, flood recovery, fire restoration, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and general cleanup procedures.
- Knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use and respiratory protection during hazardous material handling.
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly in various conditions.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as Xactimate for project estimation.
- Construction experience is a plus for understanding structural repairs or modifications needed during restorations.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly approach when interacting with clients during stressful situations.
- Familiarity with industry standards related to safety protocol adherence and restoration industry best practices.
