Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:30 PM - 11:30 PM
Pay Range: $24.00 - $30.00 Hourly

The Machine Operator position here at EW Grobbel requires an individual who possesses the ability to monitor and guide the cooking schedules and machines. The qualified candidate must demonstrate a positive attitude, high energy, and is able to become competent in their position quickly. The ideal applicant would be accustomed to physical and fast-paced work with machine operating experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate cooking machinery according to specified procedures to meet production targets.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on cooking equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot issues with cooking machinery and escalate complex problems to maintenance team.
• Adjust machine settings as required to meet product specifications.
• Strictly adhere to HACCP, USDA, and other relevant food safety guidelines to prevent foodborne illnesses.
• Monitor cooking temperatures and times to ensure product quality and safety.
• Record and maintain accurate data on cooking parameters and production volumes.
• Conduct regular checks on product quality, identifying and reporting any products that do not meet quality standards.
• Clean and sanitize cooking and surrounding areas to maintain a hygienic work environment.
• Comply with all company policies and regulatory requirements related to food processing.
  

• Experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of machine operation; food safety regulations is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to channel timely, professional communications to appropriate cross-functional teams and escalate communication as needed.
