SCADA Engineer – Entry Level Location: Eden Prairie, MN Schedule: Full-Time Salary: $70,000 – 73,000 (based on experience) At EVS, we’re powering the future of renewable energy through innovation, precision, and collaboration. We’re looking for a SCADA Engineer – Entry Level to join our growing team and support the design, programming, and configuration of SCADA systems for utility-scale energy projects. This is a hands-on opportunity to build your technical expertise in networking, protocols, and automation while contributing to the clean energy transition. You’ll gain mentorship from experienced engineers, take part in on-site commissioning, and grow into a trusted technical resource within the SCADA group. What You’ll Do Develop and program SCADA device settings and configurations. Troubleshoot and test devices both remotely and onsite (~2–6 weeks of travel per year). Collaborate with SCADA leadership, relay engineering, and project managers to deliver accurate, low-revision solutions. Support implementation of SCADA standards, documentation, and best practices. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 1 years of experience with networking systems and SCADA protocols (Modbus/DNP3). Hands-on familiarity with switches, routers, and firewalls. Exposure to SCADA software platforms (Wonderware, Siemens, Ignition preferred). Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and communication skills. Bonus: Python experience, NERC-CIP knowledge, or exposure to solar, substation, or BESS projects.
