Duties
- Conduct regular pool maintenance including water testing, chemical balancing, and filter cleaning to ensure optimal water quality.
- Perform pool cleaning tasks such as skimming debris, vacuuming surfaces, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets to maintain cleanliness.
- Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; identify issues and perform repairs or coordinate repairs with service teams.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to repair or replace faulty equipment, ensuring all systems operate efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, repairs, and inspections for compliance and quality assurance.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to schedule maintenance visits and provide updates on pool conditions.
Requirements
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and power tools for equipment repair and maintenance.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy equipment, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward troubleshooting equipment issues promptly.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all pools meet health regulations and safety protocols.
