Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to support cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Identify, evaluate, and select vendors based on quality, pricing, capability, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels.
- Manage the full purchasing process from RFP through delivery.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and work alongside purchasing support personnel as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all procurement policies, regulations, and internal controls.
- Conduct ongoing market research to stay current with pricing, industry trends, and supply chain shifts.
- Oversee and manage purchasing budgets to ensure financial efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to support production needs.
- Identify and implement cost-reduction and value-optimization opportunities.
- Apply strategic thinking to long-term purchasing, supplier strategy, and process improvements.

- Advanced certifications such as CPM, CPSM, or CSCP.
- This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but may assist in coordinating workflow or providing guidance to purchasing support personnel as the department grows.
- Prolonged periods of sitting, computer work, and administrative tasks.
- Occasional walking in production or warehouse areas.
- Work is performed in a standard office environment with regular interaction across production, inventory, finance, and operations teams.
- Occasional exposure to manufacturing and warehouse environments.
- Minimal; occasional travel may be needed for vendor visits, supplier audits, or industry meetings as needed.

- Salary – Exempt
- Based on experience
- Standard operating office hours, Monday through Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Additional hours or schedule adjustments may be required during project deadlines.
