Job Summary:

The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and inspect various boat components, including mechanical and structural systems
- Check boat frames to ensure they are square
- Tighten and check all fasteners for appropriate torque
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop machinery safely and efficiently
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during assembly or final inspection to meet quality and safety standards
- Move between workstations or boat models based on production needs, providing cross-functional support
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Meet or exceed daily production goals while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship
- Communicate effectively with team members, leads, and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and problem resolution
- Support other departments or projects as assigned to ensure timely delivery of completed units
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a team-based, hands-on manufacturing environment, preferably in the marine or recreational vehicle industry
- Extensive cross-training and hands-on experience in the manufacturing of high-end pontoon boats, including complex assemblies and finishes
- Strong understanding of boat design, construction techniques, and marine manufacturing standards
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Advanced assembly and system troubleshooting skills
- Keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with professionalism at all levels
- Willingness to pursue continuing education, including engine OEM certifications
- Ability to stand, walk, crouch, bend, kneel, and climb in and out of boats throughout the workday
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs consistently
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks for 8 hours per day
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
- Strong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed to meet production goals
- Flexibility to take on additional tasks or assignments as directed by leadership
