Job Description Summary

Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. Keep records and compile stock reports.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods and supplies on site under supervision to ensure on time delivery of goods and supplies.
• Deliver basic warehouse and store tasks under supervision to ensure all goods and supplies are stored and recorded in line with agreed procedures.
• Complete basic packaging tasks and assist others by following established procedures under supervision.
• Perform basic inventory control tasks and checks on quantities, quality, and availability against records following established inventory control procedures.
• Operate basic equipment and carry out routine tasks. Involves following strict, detailed instructions.
• Input content into standard templates. Also take responsibility for collating materials and photocopying them.
  
  

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 - 5 years of forklift experience preferred.
• Uses clear and effective elementary verbal communications skills under supervision to express ideas, request actions and formulate plans or policies.
• Works under supervision at an elementary level to plan, organize, prioritize and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
• Works under supervision at an elementary level to develop, monitor, interpret and understand policies and procedures, while making sure they match organizational strategies and objectives.
• Applies elementary concepts under supervision to manage and apply safe systems of work.
• Works under supervision at an elementary level to motivate all employees to learn, grow and develop so that they can obtain the knowledge and experience they need to help the organization reach its goals.
• Identifies, assesses, prioritizes and manages risks in a production process at an elementary level, under supervision
• Works under supervision at an elementary level to achieve full compliance with applicable rules and regulations in management and/or operations.
• Works under supervision at an elementary level to develop appropriate plans or perform necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.
• Works under supervision at an elementary level to review and create relevant, lucid and effective reports.
• Uses an elementary understanding of numerical concepts to perform mathematical operations such as report analysis under supervision.
• Works under supervision to perform elementary data analysis for use in reports to help guide decision making.
• Supports business processes under supervision by applying an elementary understanding and effective use of standard office equipment and standard software packages.
