Controls or operates machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line. May be expected to handle heavy machinery.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Apply aseptic techniques and follow cGMP/GLP requirements with minimal to direct supervision.
- Accurately complete batch records and perform complex, multi-step solution preparations.
- Assemble/disassemble process equipment and operate PLC-controlled systems per batch instructions.
- Use basic hand tools, perform in-process environmental monitoring, and assist with IOQ execution.
- Follow all safety protocols, including PPE use, hazard awareness via MSDS, and incident reporting.
- Maintain cleanliness through housekeeping and adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Identify and suggest improvements in equipment maintenance, calibration, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with quality systems and company standards during all production phases.
REQUIREMENTS
- AA Degree in technical area and 0-2 years relevant industry experience as determined by management is preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to perform calculations when supplied with the equation.
- Ability to read and follow detailed written instructions.
- Thorough understanding of all general lab glassware.
- Basic understanding of system controls and data logging software.
