Lead / Senior PCB Design Automation Engineer (Advanced Engineering)
Location: Los Angeles / Long Beach (Hybrid)
A fast-growing space hardware company is building a new Advanced Engineering team focused on transforming how electronics are designed and manufactured.
We’re looking for a hands-on PCB Design Engineer who has taken boards end-to-end from concept through manufacturing, and is excited by improving and automating that process.
🔧 What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end PCB design: schematic, layout, bring-up, and production
- Design high-speed, multilayer boards for complex aerospace systems
- Work closely with manufacturing on DFM, testability, and production readiness
- Help build design automation workflows to improve speed and quality
- Collaborate across hardware, systems, and manufacturing teams
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience delivering PCB designs through to manufacturing
- Strong hands-on experience with Cadence Allegro, Xpedition, or similar
- Experience with controlled impedance, high-speed, multilayer designs
- Background in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability hardware
- Solid understanding of DFM, validation, and production processes
💡 Nice to Have
- Experience with design automation or improving design workflows
- Exposure to RF, mixed-signal, or power electronics systems
- Experience working with contract manufacturers

Salary : $165,000 - $250,000
