Hardware Engineering Manager

🚀 We’re hiring: Manager, Hardware Engineering | Westminster, CO

I’m looking to connect with experienced Digital & Mixed-Signal Hardware Engineers who are ready to expand their impact through technical leadership and team development.

This is a highly technical, hands-on leadership opportunity focused on delivering advanced high-speed digital and mixed-signal electronics for space and aerospace applications.

You don’t necessarily need to already be an Engineering Manager. This could also be a great next step for a Senior, Staff, or Principal Engineer who has led technical teams and is ready to move into engineering management.

🛰️ What you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading and scaling a high-performing digital & mixed-signal hardware team

• Maintaining technical excellence across complex hardware programs

• High-speed digital and mixed-signal board/system architecture

• Leading rigorous architecture and design reviews

• Establishing signal integrity, schematic, PCB layout, and hardware development standards

• Supporting complex debug involving high-speed interfaces, large FPGAs and processors

• Contributing hands-on to critical board-level designs when needed

• Driving DFM/DFT and successful transition from engineering into production

• Improving design reuse, modular architectures and platform commonality

• Mentoring engineers and developing technical career paths

• Supporting hiring, staffing, resource planning and engineering execution

🔧 What we’re looking for:

• 7 years of digital or mixed-signal hardware engineering experience

• BS or higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering

• Deep expertise in high-speed digital and mixed-signal board design

• Strong understanding of signal integrity and timing

• Hands-on experience with Altium or similar schematic/PCB tools

• Experience with high-speed simulation tools such as Ansys SIwave or ADS SIPro

• Strong DFM/DFT and hardware production experience

• Experience conducting technical design reviews and mentoring engineers

• Ability to work effectively across RF, power, firmware, software and mechanical engineering

• Strong technical and non-technical communication skills

Experience with software-defined radios (SDRs), FPGA toolchains such as Xilinx Vivado, aerospace/defense hardware, or previous technical leadership/engineering management would be particularly valuable.
