The Role
This is a highly cross-functional position where you’ll own and drive the full lifecycle of capture and proposal activity across government and commercial opportunities.
You’ll act as the central point of coordination across business development, engineering, product, finance, and legal, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and competitive submissions.

The Role
This is a highly cross-functional position where you’ll own and drive the full lifecycle of capture and proposal activity across government and commercial opportunities.
You’ll act as the central point of coordination across business development, engineering, product, finance, and legal, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and competitive submissions.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Leading end-to-end capture and proposal processes from qualification through to submission and follow-up
- Managing multiple concurrent opportunities including RFIs, RFPs, SBIRs, BAAs, and commercial bids
- Running proposal kick-offs, assigning contributors, and driving timelines
- Developing and maintaining reusable proposal content and templates
- Translating technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives
- Coordinating pricing and cost volume development with technical and finance teams
- Leading win/loss reviews and continuously improving proposal strategy and process
- 8 years’ experience in proposal, capture, or program management within government contracting or deep tech environments
- Strong track record delivering successful submissions across structured solicitations
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively
- Highly organised with experience managing multiple live opportunities
- Familiarity with government procurement processes and frameworks
- Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot for pipeline tracking
- Collaborative approach, able to influence across teams without direct authority
- APMP, PMP, or similar certifications
- Experience within space, defence, or Earth observation sectors
- Knowledge of SBIR/STTR processes
- Experience building proposal functions in high-growth or startup environments
- Exposure to pricing and cost modelling
- Salary: $130,000 to $160,000
