Together, these roles ensure consistent inventory standards, systems, and practices across locations. This role is intentionally focused on inventory strategy, controls, accuracy, and operational readiness, with responsibility for identifying needs and coordinating purchasing requests through established internal channels.

The Parts and Inventory Manager is responsible for leading and managing all parts room and inventory operations at the Indiana facility, while working collaboratively with the Parts and Inventory Manager in Ohio. Together, these roles ensure consistent inventory standards, systems, and practices across locations. This role is intentionally focused on inventory strategy, controls, accuracy, and operational readiness, with responsibility for identifying needs and coordinating purchasing requests through established internal channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, organize, and lead inventory operations for the Indianapolis facility using modern inventory control systems and best practices.
- Partner with the Parts and Inventory Manager in Ohio to maintain consistency in inventory systems, processes, and reporting.
- Receive, store, issue, and track parts, tools, and equipment with accuracy and professionalism.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels through production planning, usage analysis, and lead-time awareness.
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits; investigate discrepancies and maintain system accuracy.
- Stage, kit, and assemble parts and materials to support manufacturing and build schedules.
- Maintain the parts and inventory–related portions of Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring alignment with production and inventory systems.
- Provide direction to team members supporting BOM maintenance and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Communicate proactively with production, purchasing, and leadership to surface inventory risks and priorities.
- Coordinate demand forecasts, inventory thresholds, and urgent needs through established purchasing processes.
- Develop and report key inventory metrics focused on accuracy, inventory turns, and operational efficiency.
- Manage on-site and off-site inventory in coordination with vendors, contract manufacturers, and internal teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for inventory-related urgency and prioritization.
- Support standard work, process documentation, and continuous improvement related to inventory controls and material flow.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 4 years of inventory management or inventory control experience
- Experience with inventory systems, BOM-related processes, and manufacturing environments
- Experience working cross-functionally with operations, accounting, and leadership
