Evolve Transporters is a high-end custom fabrication company based in Painesville, OH with a second service center in Indianapolis, IN. Our clients are some of the biggest motorsport teams and brands in the world, for which we assist in designing and fabricating race transporters. This position reports to: Sr. Director of Accounting

Location: Indianapolis, IN

What You Can Expect In This Role

The Accounting Coordinator role is ideal for someone who thrives in a self-managed environment and can independently handle the day-to-day accounting operations of the Indiana facility. While the position will report remotely to our Ohio-based Sr. Director of Accounting, it will be instrumental in building and supporting the financial structure of the Indiana location as we expand.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all local accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including vendor payments, customer invoicing, and collections.
• Reconcile local bank accounts and monitor Indiana-specific cash flow.
• Maintain accurate and timely general ledger entries, journal entries, and financial records.
• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes for the IN location, including preparation of financial reports and supporting documentation.
• Administer local credit card and expense reporting.
• Serve as the on-site accounting contact for the Indiana office, coordinating with the Ohio finance team as needed.
• Identify opportunities to streamline local accounting processes.
• Handle confidential financial information with professionalism and integrity.
• Support cross-functional financial needs within the Indianapolis operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the growth and separation of financial operations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and stoop in office settings.
  
  

Preferred Experience

• 2 years in an accounting or finance role.
• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (i.e. Sage100)
