Overview
Evolve Infrastructure Group is a growing heavy civil construction company with projects across Colorado and Arizona. We are seeking a Project Accountant to support the financial performance of our projects through job costing, reporting, and analysis.
This role works closely with Project Managers and leadership, and partners with our Bookkeeping team, who handle day-to-day transactional accounting.
Responsibilities
- Manage and analyze job cost tracking across multiple projects
- Monitor budgets vs. actuals and identify cost variances
- Prepare and maintain WIP schedules and support revenue recognition
- Generate project-level financial reports for leadership and PMs
- Review labor, equipment, and material costs for accuracy and proper coding
- Support certified payroll reporting and compliance requirements
- Assist with month-end and year-end close related to project financials
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Bookkeeping team to ensure accurate financial data
Qualifications
- 3 years of construction or project accounting experience
- Strong understanding of job costing, WIP reporting, and project financials
- Experience with QuickBooks Online Advanced
- Certified payroll experience preferred
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
