The Role: As a Window and Door Installation Technician, you will contribute or lead projects that are focused on window and door replacement, but often lead to broader scopes that can include trim carpentry, drywalling, framing, trim coiling, and other adjacent tasks. This position demands a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in construction, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Install windows and doors with the highest level of craftsmanship, ensuring seamless operation and perfect integration into existing structures.
• Conduct site assessments to determine the best installation practices for each unique scenario, as well as taking precise measurements for the replacement orders.
• Manage the job site effectively, ensuring all tools and materials are handled efficiently and safely.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients from initial contact through completion of installation, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the installation. It is essential that you actively address and solve issues that arise, as opposed to passing them along to a manager.
• Mind manners in the client’s home, maintaining a professional demeanor and attempting to leave the space better than it was found.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in window and door installation within residential settings.
• Familiarity with various types of windows and doors, including custom designs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must pass a background check.
