Client Support Specialist

Overview

As a Client Support Specialist at Evolutions Treatment Center, you will be an essential part of our treatment team, providing hands-on support, structure, and guidance to clients as they navigate early recovery. You will help maintain a safe and therapeutic environment while ensuring daily operations run smoothly across our residential programs. This position requires compassion, professionalism, and the ability to model positive behavior while supporting clients through challenging moments in their treatment journey.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a direct support and positive role model for clients in recovery, fostering accountability, structure, and motivation.
• Supervise and monitor clients throughout the day to ensure safety, compliance, and participation in scheduled programming.
• Conduct client headcounts, property rounds, and routine room checks to maintain a secure environment.
• Escort and transport clients to and from clinical services, medical appointments, meetings, and activities as assigned.
• Facilitate or assist with daily groups, activities, and community meetings that promote personal growth and teamwork.
• Observe client behavior and report any notable changes, concerns, or incidents to clinical or supervisory staff promptly.
• Perform regular documentation of client progress, attendance, and daily notes in accordance with facility policies.
• Assist with client admissions, discharges, and orientation to ensure a smooth and supportive transition into and out of the program.
• Uphold all facility policies, safety protocols, and confidentiality standards as set by state regulations and company policy.
• Support a positive, professional environment that aligns with Evolutions Treatment Center’s mission of compassion and recovery.

Basic Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a calm, professional demeanor.
• Ability to manage crisis situations and maintain composure under pressure.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a Level II background screening.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or a recovery-related setting.
• Knowledge of addiction, recovery principles, and trauma-informed care practices.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems.
