Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Platform

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams across the full software lifecycle, from design and build through deployment and operations
• Work directly with customers to deploy, integrate, and troubleshoot the platform within their AWS environments
• Build and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code using tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform
• Develop automation tooling using Python and supporting frameworks to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency
• Design and maintain monitoring, alerting, and self‑healing systems ahead of production releases
• Own and operate internal AWS environments, ensuring performance, security, and cost optimisation
• Partner with solution architects during customer discussions to support technical integration and deployment questions
• Maintain clear, up‑to‑date documentation covering deployments, processes, and best practices

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or a similar role
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS (certification preferred)
• Proficiency in Python (preferred) or another backend language such as Java or Go
• Deep experience with infrastructure‑as‑code, ideally using CloudFormation
• Experience supporting AI‑enabled platforms, including ML or LLM‑driven systems
• Strong background in cloud‑native architectures, automation, and infrastructure provisioning
• Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, AWS CodeDeploy)
• Familiarity with microservices, containers, and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and cloud security best practices
• Strong communication skills and experience working directly with customers
