Multimedia Content Designer

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid: 3 Days in-office, 2 Days Work-from-home)

Reports To: Head of Marketing

Position Overview

The Multimedia Content Designer is responsible for developing high-impact visual and multimedia assets that support brand, campaign, and product storytelling across our omni-channel ecosystem. This role collaborates closely with Global Marketing to ensure creative assets are brand-aligned, commercially effective, and appropriately localized for regional use.

This role plays a hands-on part in shaping how our brand shows up across B2B, DTC, 1P, and 3P platforms through static, animated, motion, and video content—while acting as a steward of existing Brand Visual Identity (BVI), positioning, and global creative standards. The role leverages AI-powered creative tools to increase speed, scale, and localization efficiency, while maintaining creative quality and brand integrity.

Responsibilities

Creative Development & Execution

  • Design and produce static, animated, and motion graphics for use across website, digital advertising, social media, email, retail, and offline channels
  • Develop photography assets (product, lifestyle, and application imagery)
  • Design website assets and supporting digital content in partnership with marketing and ecommerce teams
  • Adapt and localize Global creative assets (including video and photography) for North America, ensuring alignment with BVI and positioning standards
  • Develop region-specific creative such as tradeshow graphics, campaign assets, and sales materials

Campaign, Content & Channel Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing, product, sales, ecommerce, and Global Marketing teams to deliver assets that clearly communicate value propositions and tell cohesive brand stories
  • Support campaign and launch timelines by delivering required creative assets
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to support content calendars tied to campaigns, product activity, and company initiatives
  • Adapt graphics and video content from influencer and affiliate for use on social channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), ensuring brand alignment
  • Manage the North American YouTube channel, including content updates, optimization, and performance-driven recommendations

Written & Presentation Content Support

  • Translate messaging frameworks into clear visual and written formats while maintaining consistency with brand tone and positioning
  • Support internal communications and sales enablement through POP and other collateral

Global Collaboration, Localization & Brand Stewardship

  • Work closely with Global Marketing teams to adapt and localize creative assets for North American use
  • Act as a day-to-day guardian of Brand Visual Identity (BVI), ensuring consistent application across all creative outputs
  • Support translation and localization of assets for Canada and Mexico (e.g., French and Spanish), leveraging AI translation tools with human review for accuracy and brand tone
  • Provide feedback to Global teams on asset effectiveness, usability, and regional needs

AI & Creative Technology Enablement

  • Actively use AI-powered creative tools (image, video, motion, copy-assist, and editing tools) to accelerate concepting, production, localization, and iteration
  • Investigate, test, and recommend new AI and creative technologies that improve efficiency and scalability
  • Help define workflows and guardrails for AI use in creative production, ensuring brand consistency and quality
  • Balance AI-assisted production with human-led creative judgment and storytelling

Asset Management & Process

  • Oversee a well-organized digital asset library (images, video, templates, motion files)
  • Maintain version control and documentation for global vs. regional creative assets

Requirements & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in a multimedia, graphic design, or content design role
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating digital, motion, video, and photography-related work
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and video editing tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent)
  • Experience using AI-powered creative and translation tools to support production and localization
  • Strong understanding of brand systems, visual storytelling, and omni-channel design
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across creative, marketing, and global teams
