Summary:
The primary function of this position is to inspect, remove, and replace damaged parts; and provide quality components for the Builder/Drivetrain Technicians to complete the assembly process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receives direction from team leads on priority units
- Polish all seal surface areas
- Assemble main shaft assemblies for Builder/Drivetrain Technicians
- Stage pre-assembled units for Builder/Drivetrain Technicians
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, properly disposing of worn parts
- Other tasks as directed, including cross-training in other areas of the shop
Qualifications:
- Basic automotive or mechanical skills
- Familiarity and/or use of power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to cross-train in other areas of the shop
