Evolution Design is seeking a detail-oriented Shop Manager to lead our granite countertop fabrication shop. This role requires someone who values exceptional craftsmanship while also ensuring projects are completed on time and on schedule. You’ll set the standard for both quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Balance production schedules with quality control, never sacrificing one for the other
- Ensure all finished products meet high-quality standards and customer expectations
- Lead a culture focused on precision, craftsmanship, and accountability
- Train and coach employees on fabrication techniques, efficiency, and attention to detail
- Monitor workflow to keep jobs moving on time and within schedule
- Identify bottlenecks and adjust resources to maintain steady production flow
- Perform quality checks throughout the fabrication process to prevent rework
- Troubleshoot production issues quickly to avoid delays
- Coordinate with scheduling to meet deadlines while maintaining workmanship standards
- Track performance and implement improvements to increase both quality and efficiency
Requirements
- 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or shop environment
- Strong commitment to quality workmanship and meeting deadlines
- Ability to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and keep production on track
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Strong communication and team leadership abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Stone fabrication experience preferred, but not required
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
