We’re working with a fast-scaling, Series A AI infrastructure startup building critical systems for enterprise and public sector customers - handling some of the most sensitive data in the world.
Backed by top-tier investors (General Catalyst Bessemer) and growing rapidly, the team includes engineers from Google, Amazon, Stanford and Princeton. They’re now hiring a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to own security, scalability, and cost across a production AWS environment.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role. You’ll shape architecture, reduce risk, and build resilient systems from the ground up.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Designing least-privilege IAM and multi-account strategies
- Reducing attack surface and improving network isolation
- Leading threat modelling and incident response
- Strengthening logging, monitoring, and detection
- Optimising infrastructure for scale, reliability, and cost
You should apply if you have:
- 5 years operating AWS in production
- Deep IAM and AWS networking expertise
- Experience with multi-account environments and security incidents
- Strong understanding of cloud attack vectors and trade-offs
- Hands-on experience with Terraform or CDK

Compensation: $180k-$230k Equity
