Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Cedar Rapids, IA. The Salesperson is responsible for engaging prospective and existing customers, presenting products and services, and guiding customers through the sales process from initial contact to closing. Day-to-day tasks include identifying leads, conducting in-person and phone-based outreach, scheduling and attending sales meetings, and providing detailed product information tailored to customer needs. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM or sales tracking tools, preparing reports on sales activities, and collaborating with marketing and operations teams to ensure a smooth customer experience. The Salesperson is expected to meet or exceed sales targets, follow company policies and procedures, and represent EVO Marketing professionally in all customer interactions.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated sales skills, including prospecting, presenting solutions, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities, with a focus on understanding client needs and providing appropriate solutions.
- Effective communication skills, including clear verbal communication, professional writing, and active listening.
- Basic proficiency with CRM systems, email, and standard office software for tracking leads, updating records, and preparing reports.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Cedar Rapids, IA, manage a schedule independently, and follow through on commitments.
- Comfort with learning product and industry knowledge quickly and explaining complex information in a straightforward way.
- Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and be coached is essential.
