The Project Manager removes blockers, manages dependencies across distributed squads, and establishes predictable delivery cadences using modern agile tooling.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute complex technical projects using Jira, Confluence, and GitHub to track epics, sprints, and milestones
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and cross-team syncs
- Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving cross-functional bottlenecks before they impact delivery timelines
- Partner with engineering leads to scope features, define acceptance criteria, and manage capacity planning
- Communicate project health, key metrics, and roadmap updates clearly to engineering leadership and stakeholders
- 4-7 years of technical project or program management experience within software engineering environments
- Deep familiarity with agile and scrum methodologies, including Jira administration and sprint metric tracking
- Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous technical requirements into structured execution plans
- Exceptional facilitation, conflict resolution, and written communication skills
- Bonus: PMP, CSM, or PMI-ACP certification; prior software engineering background
