What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Manager position at Evlo AI?
About The Role
The role owns product strategy and execution for a core platform surface — defining the roadmap, writing the specs, and driving cross-functional delivery from discovery through launch. This is a hands-on PM role in a data-intensive B2B domain where decisions must be grounded in user research, technical constraints, and measurable business outcomes.
The product sits at the intersection of backend infrastructure and customer-facing workflows, so the role works daily with engineers on APIs, data pipelines, and integration surfaces while staying tightly connected to customer needs and revenue goals.

- Write high-quality product requirements documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineering teams can execute against with minimal ambiguity
- Run customer discovery — interviews, surveys, win/loss analysis — and synthesize findings into prioritized product bets
- Partner with engineering leads on technical tradeoffs, sprint planning, and backlog grooming; unblock teams by making timely scoping decisions
- Define and track KPIs using tools like Amplitude, Looker, or SQL-based dashboards; report progress to leadership with data-backed narratives
- Coordinate go-to-market with product marketing, sales, and customer success for major launches, including positioning, pricing input, and enablement
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify whitespace and inform multi-quarter strategy
- 3–6 years of product management experience, including at least 2 years owning a technical or platform product end-to-end
- Track record of shipping products through the full lifecycle: discovery, spec, build, launch, and iteration in production
- Strong technical fluency — able to discuss APIs, system architecture, and data models credibly with engineers (CS degree or equivalent technical background preferred)
- Proficiency with product and analytics tooling: Jira, Figma, Amplitude or Mixpanel, and SQL for self-serve analysis
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize under ambiguity and communicate tradeoffs clearly to executives and engineers alike
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: experience with B2B SaaS platforms, developer-facing products, or API-first products; MBA; experience at a venture-backed growth-stage company
