The role owns cross-functional initiatives from planning through delivery, using tools such as Jira, Asana, Salesforce, Slack, and BI dashboards to surface dependencies, remove bottlenecks, and turn operational data into measurable improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and improve operational workflows, documenting standard operating procedures, approval paths, escalation processes, and service-level expectations
- Coordinate cross-functional programs across engineering, product, IT, finance, and customer teams; track milestones, dependencies, risks, and decisions through completion
- Build and maintain operating dashboards using tools such as Google Sheets, SQL, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI to monitor throughput, cycle time, capacity, and service-level performance
- Manage the operating cadence for planning meetings, business reviews, retrospectives, and executive status reporting
- Configure and improve work-management and collaboration systems, including Jira, Asana, Confluence, Slack, Salesforce, and related integrations
- Identify process bottlenecks through data analysis and stakeholder interviews, then lead improvements that reduce manual work, errors, and delivery delays
- Manage external vendors and internal tool budgets, including requirements gathering, contract coordination, performance reviews, and renewal planning
- 3-8 years of experience in operations, project management, program management, business operations, or a related role within a technology company
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and measurable delivery outcomes
- Strong analytical and process-design skills, including advanced spreadsheet modeling and comfort working with SQL or BI reporting tools
- Hands-on experience administering or improving work-management, CRM, collaboration, or business systems such as Jira, Asana, Salesforce, Confluence, or Slack
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear operating documentation, executive updates, and decision-ready analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: Experience with SaaS operations, cloud infrastructure or data-platform teams, workflow automation tools, API integrations, Agile delivery, or vendor management
