Mobile Engineer (iOS / Android)

About The Role

The role owns the end-to-end development, performance, and scaling of native mobile applications reaching millions of active users daily on iOS and Android.

The engineering team collaborates closely with product managers and UX designers to ship polished, responsive, and robust features that set the standard for mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced native applications for the iOS and Android platforms using Swift, Kotlin, and modern reactive frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features optimized for performance, battery efficiency, and offline-first capabilities
• Integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints with robust caching layers, state management, and error handling
• Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and continuously improve application responsiveness, memory usage, and startup time
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability using XCTest, JUnit, and Espresso
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation through continuous integration pipelines and rigorous code reviews
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 3–6 years of professional software development experience with at least 3 years focused on native iOS (Swift, SwiftUI) or Android (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose) development
• Demonstrated portfolio of complex mobile applications published in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Deep understanding of mobile architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture) and advanced design patterns
• Familiarity with push notifications, deep linking, background processing, and secure local storage mechanisms
• Solid computer science foundation with a BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Bonus: Experience with cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter, contributing to open-source mobile libraries, or CI/CD pipeline automation for mobile
