Financial Analyst

About The Role

The role drives corporate finance and regulatory compliance, partnering with accounting and executive teams to ensure rigorous financial forecasting, budget management, and adherence to US GAAP, SOX, and SEC frameworks.

The Financial Analyst will build complex financial models, analyze variance drivers, and deliver actionable insights that directly influence strategic capital allocation and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dynamic financial models in Excel and financial planning systems to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
• Perform monthly and quarterly variance analysis, investigating budget deviations and partnering with department heads to manage spend
• Prepare financial reporting packages, executive summaries, and board decks that clearly communicate financial performance and risk
• Support SEC reporting, internal audit controls, and SOX compliance testing by gathering documentation and ensuring adherence to US GAAP
• Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate month-end close accruals and revenue recognition reconciliations
• Automate financial reporting workflows and improve data integrity using SQL, ERP systems, and BI tools
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 3-6 years of corporate finance, investment banking, or accounting experience within a high-growth technology or public company environment
• Deep technical proficiency in US GAAP, financial modeling, discounted cash flow analysis, and variance reporting
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with SQL, NetSuite, and BI reporting tools (Tableau or Looker)
• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field
• Bonus: CFA, CPA, or progress toward relevant financial certifications
