The Financial Analyst will build complex financial models, analyze variance drivers, and deliver actionable insights that directly influence strategic capital allocation and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain dynamic financial models in Excel and financial planning systems to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
- Perform monthly and quarterly variance analysis, investigating budget deviations and partnering with department heads to manage spend
- Prepare financial reporting packages, executive summaries, and board decks that clearly communicate financial performance and risk
- Support SEC reporting, internal audit controls, and SOX compliance testing by gathering documentation and ensuring adherence to US GAAP
- Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate month-end close accruals and revenue recognition reconciliations
- Automate financial reporting workflows and improve data integrity using SQL, ERP systems, and BI tools
- 3-6 years of corporate finance, investment banking, or accounting experience within a high-growth technology or public company environment
- Deep technical proficiency in US GAAP, financial modeling, discounted cash flow analysis, and variance reporting
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with SQL, NetSuite, and BI reporting tools (Tableau or Looker)
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- Bonus: CFA, CPA, or progress toward relevant financial certifications
