Key Responsibilities
- Write complex, optimized SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large-scale datasets across distributed cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery
- Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau or Looker to democratize data access for non-technical stakeholders
- Develop and automate data pipelines and metrics tracking using dbt to ensure data quality and consistency across all reporting layers
- Perform deep-dive exploratory data analyses to diagnose business performance anomalies, evaluate feature releases, and measure marketing campaign ROI
- Partner with engineering teams to instrument event tracking using tools like Segment or Amplitude and define core tracking schemas for new product launches
- Define, document, and maintain key performance indicators and business definitions to align cross-functional teams
- 3 years of experience in a dedicated business analyst, data analyst, or analytics engineering role, ideally within a high-growth technology environment
- Expert-level SQL proficiency, including deep experience with window functions, complex joins, query optimization, and CTEs
- Hands-on experience building production-grade dashboards and semantic layers in BI platforms such as Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI
- Familiarity with modern data stack workflows, including version control (Git), dbt, and command-line interfaces
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: Proficiency in Python or R for statistical analysis, experience designing and analyzing A/B tests, or familiarity with Airflow orchestration
