About the Role:
This inside sales role is critical to our growth strategy and focuses on advancing warm, pre-qualified leads through the pipeline, delivering compelling product presentations, and securing new business with consistency and precision. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record of success in pharmaceutical or medical sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience engaging healthcare providers, addressing clinical questions, and closing revenue-driving opportunities. This position requires a confident communicator who can educate prescribers, navigate objections, and create urgency while maintaining the highest level of professionalism. Experience in compounding pharmaceuticals including pain management, dermatology, hormone therapy, or specialized formulations is a distinct advantage and will enable faster ramp-up and deeper provider engagement. You will own the full closing process, secure first orders for newly onboarded accounts, and ensure each transition to ongoing account management is smooth and strategically aligned for long-term growth.
This is a base commission role.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience:
• Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical or medical sales experience (required).
• Established track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas.
• Experience managing healthcare provider accounts and conducting clinical presentations.
• Compounding pharmacy sales experience is a plus (pain, dermatology, hormone therapy, sterile or non-sterile).
• Experience in outside pharma sales welcomed, especially those seeking greater stability through inside sales.
Skills and Capabilities:
• Strong clinical communication and ability to simplify complex product information.
• Skilled in virtual detailing, consultative selling, and territory management.
• Proficient with CRM systems, pipeline management, and multi-touch follow-up strategies.
• Polished phone presence with ability to build rapport quickly.
• Exceptional objection handling, negotiation skills, and prescriber education ability.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth intro calls and presentations for qualified prospects.
• Close new accounts and collect all required onboarding documentation.
• Immediately secure each account’s first order to activate revenue.
• Introduce the newly onboarded provider to their Account Concierge (Account Manager).
• Maintain ownership of all sales, product knowledge, and upsell conversations.
• Reach out to active accounts at least every other week to maintain engagement and drive ongoing ordering.
• Handle objections, educate providers on product options, and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with operational support to ensure a smooth experience for each client.
• Maintain strong pipeline hygiene and daily CRM updates.
