Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, confident, and highly organized Office Lead to oversee front office operations and lead our administrative team. This role is ideal for a dental professional who understands how strategic scheduling, restorative workflow, and strong leadership directly impact production and patient experience.
The Office Lead is a key leader within the practice and plays a critical role in maximizing efficiency, supporting the clinical team, and maintaining a positive, patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically design, manage, and optimize provider schedules with a deep understanding of restorative workflows and production targets—maximizing clinical efficiency, chair utilization, and overall practice revenue.
- Own the full revenue cycle, including insurance verification, claims submission, patient billing, and accounts receivable management—driving timely collections, reducing outstanding A/R, and maintaining strong financial performance.
- Champion a patient-first culture while advancing operational excellence, maintaining meticulous accuracy in scheduling, clinical documentation, and patient communications. Serve as the central point of contact for patient concerns, ensuring prompt, professional, and solution-oriented resolution.
- Proactively identify workflow inefficiencies and lead process improvements that enhance productivity, consistency, and patient experience, while ensuring strict adherence to office policies, regulatory standards, and operational protocols.
- Direct daily front office operations, providing leadership, training, and mentorship to front desk team members to build accountability, elevate performance, and maintain a high-functioning, service-focused team.
Required Qualifications
- Restorative Private Practice experience, 3-5 years minimum required.
- Strong working knowledge of Dentrix required.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Proven experience scheduling restorative procedures effectively.
