What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Assistant position at Everytown for Gun Safety Support Fund Inc.?
Everytown for Gun Safety, the largest gun violence prevention advocacy group in the country, is seeking a dedicated professional who will support the President of the organization, assist on a variety of special projects and operations across the organization, and be an integral part of making sure the Office of the President runs smoothly.
This role reports to the Chief of Staff, and will include the following responsibilities:
Manage the President’s calendar, daily schedule and briefings
Manage the President’s travel, including itineraries, reservations, accommodations, and transportation
Manage the President's expenses, reports, and contracts
Assist with managing the President’s correspondence, priorities and day-to-day tasks
Plan, schedule and manage executive team meetings, including board meetings, all-staff meetings, off-site meetings, retreats, org-wide events, and fundraising events
Support the Chief of Staff with interdepartmental special projects
Assist with operational support, including conference rooms, guests, and supplies in the New York office

Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to quickly solve problems and manage shifting priorities
Passion for providing excellent customer service to internal and external constituents
Outstanding attention to detail
Eagerness to pitch in wherever needed, and be responsive outside of office hours as needed
Foster and build good working relationships, both internally and externally
Required Qualifications:
2 years of professional experience in an administrative or operations role
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced organization
Interest to gun violence prevention
Previous experience staffing a principal a plus
