What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Returns Processing Specialist position at Everything But The House?
We’re seeking a Returns Processing Specialist to handle returns and items that cannot be relisted on the site as well as manage reverse logistics process, inspecting, and processing accuracy.
Core Responsibilities
- Returns Processing: Receive, sort, and inspect customer returns to determine the ability to be sold.
- Inventory Reconciliation: Accurately update inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Quality Inspection: Evaluate returned product condition to ensure it meets company standards.
- Documentation: Update CRM systems, and create reports on returns and damaged material.
- Warehouse Operations: Assist with general picking, packing, and sorting orders during peak times.
- Communication: Coordinate with customer service teams regarding damaged items or customer-related issues
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or returns processing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with inventory software, computer applications, and handheld scanners.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift items frequently.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in inspecting products and updating stock records.
- Organization: Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Educational/Experience Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is generally required.
- Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience is usually preferred
