Hotel Resort Director of Finance Able To Assume Hotel Resort The Vice President Role. $170-$250K

Championship Luxury Golf Resort seeking a Hotel Resort Director of Finance who can quickly growth in the role of Vice President of Finance in Up State NY -only 2hrs from NYC.

Will oversee all financial operations, including strategic planning, budgeting, and reporting. Key responsibilities include managing accounting functions like accounts payable/receivable, ensuring financial controls and compliance, and providing financial leadership and analysis to executive leadership. This role requires managing a finance team and working across resort departments to achieve financial goals and optimize profitability. 

Core responsibilities:

• HOTEL RESORT Financial strategy and leadership: Strategic advisor to ownership.
• Financial planning and analysis: Lead budget process, financial forecasting.
• Daily Accounting operations:
• HOTEL RESORT Reporting and compliance: Financial reports/statements.
• Internal controls and Risk Management.
• Team management: Supervise and develop the finance and accounting team.
• Other: Oversee Treasury, Purchasing, IT and Insurance Sourcing.

 Qualifications and Skill:

• Experience: A minimum of 5-8 years of progressive HOTEL RESORT experience in accounting or finance.

·    Education: A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.

• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Tenure in prior positions is required
• References from prior direct bosses.

Compensation: Comprehensive Package as Director of Finance $170-$180 and $250k when promoted to Vice President of Finance.
