A healthcare organization in Queens is seeking a Clinical Informatics Nurse Specialist II to support clinical teams in optimizing electronic systems and improving workflow. This is an exciting opportunity for an informatics professional who enjoys blending clinical knowledge with technology to advance patient care.

This opportunity offers a hybrid schedule: 2-3 days in-office.

The Clinical Informatics Nurse Specialist II will be responsible for:
  • Evaluating and improving clinical workflows to support efficient use of technology
  • Gathering requirements from providers and clinical teams for system enhancements
  • Assisting with the design, implementation, and configuration of clinical information systems
  • Supporting system maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and on-call needs
  • Developing and delivering Meditech training and creating end-user documentation
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Health Informatics, or related field
  • Meditech experience with PDOC and OM/OE, plus provider training experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical informatics or related area
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows and EHR/clinical system functionality
Compensation: $120,000 to $135,000
